Historical information
The photograph was taken at the wedding of Spiroa and Yiannoula Fatouros which took place on 8 August 1924 at the Evangelismos Greek Orthodox Church in East Melbourne. They had four children: Peter Fatouros, Rita (Aphrodite) Paxinos, Helen Vlass (past treasurer of the Ithacan Philanthropic Society and Honorary Life Member) and Sia (Anastasia) Beasley.
