Historical information

This badge was purchased by members of the Geelong Cycling Club during the mid 1930s. This particular badge was owned by Morrie Saunders who was a track cyclist before the war and after in the 1950s. He was the member of the League of Bouganville Wheelmen (who held cycling races in New Guinea after WW11 while waiting to be returned to Australia.)

A small number of these badges were made and now they are very rare.
