1/10 size scale model of couta Boat Ariel. Built by Arthur Woodley Crib Point, April 2001- June 2002. Although later fitted with a motor, Ariel was one of the last couta boats designed principally for sailing, and still sails at Portland.
The original "Ariel" was built in 1927 by J A Jones of Melbourne for Keiller Brothers of Portland, Victoria.

"
