Cup, Invalid

Physical description

Plain white china feeding cup, provided with a handle and pouring spout at right angles to each other. There is a scalloped half-cover over the cup to prevent spillage. A Red Cross symbol, surrounded by two red circles, is located on the top. Used in hospitals for feeding invalid or bed-ridden patients.

Inscriptions & markings

This cup has a Red Cross symbol on the upper surface. The underside of the cup has the following imprint: "92".
