Historical information
The minute book is a record of the activities of the Ithacan Philanthropic Society from 6 August 1985 to 4 October 1994. The minutes are written in Greek except for one meeting held on the 17 November when the minutes were typed in English. Subsequent meetings which were held from 5 July 1994 to 7 September 1994 were also in English.
Significance
The minutes are important because they are a record of the club's activities and its decisions and directions that occurred during that period.
