Used from mid 1920s to late 1960s. With the sale of the Embling property in the early 70s the scabbard became the property of the Ritchie family. Mr Embling retained the shears. Mr T. Crocker (Museum Officer) and nephew of Mrs Ritchie arranged/suggested the pieces be combined again and offered to the Museum for display.
Notes relate to blanket design, marketing, retail and production and repeatedly refer to ‘Phillips’. Refers to Physician Blankets, so possibly related to Collins Brothers Mill Pty Ltd.
