Historical information

Australian Workers' Union shearers ticket issued to Mr Gottlieb Wilhelm Plier (Will) who was born near Moorabool River in 1866, the son of G.W. Plier (the postmaster at Freshwater Creek). Will Plier also worked as a dairyman at St Albans, East Geelong until 1918. He lived on Torquay Road, Germantown when first married.
