This book provides an overview of the history of quilts in Australia. It was written by well known quilt historian, Annette Gero. She curated an exhibition on historic Australian quilts for the National Trust of Australia (NSW) which was held at Old Government House, Paramatta between 5 June and 22 August 2000. This book is published in conjunction with the exhibition. A quilt now owned by the National Wool Museum (W3157) was display in this exhibition (although it does not feature in the book). Annette Gero has signed the title page.
