Historical information

This book was owned by the late Dr Elizabeth Kerr and was donated to the Museum by the executor of her estate, Margaret Cameron. It was produced by the Australian Women's Weekly and contains knitting patterns. A date of c.1946 is given for this book as although it contains no military references, the first knitting pattern in the book is called 'The Rose of England' and is dedicated to 'the women who have watched and waited'.
