This print is a reproduction of an Egyptian papyrus dating from Jan. 7, 596. It is a contract for the sale of wool and the original is held by the Deutsche Wollvereinigung, the German national committee of the International Wool Textile Organization. This print was presented to the National Wool Museum on 29 September, 1998 at a press function during the Pharaohs exhibition. It was presented by Geelong Wool Combing Ltd, a subsidiary of Bremer Woll-K?erei, a German wool combing company.
