This item was found on the site of F Wheeler's cordial factory in Chenery Street Mansfield which was in operation in 1891.Water was carted from Devil's River and stored in a 28,000 gallon tank. Mr Keane was the manager.
Significance
As cordial factories are no longer in use in Mansfield this broken bottle has historic significance and it is aesthetically pleasing because of the many colours which can been seen in the green glass'
