The photograph was taken at a gathering at the premises of the Greek Returned Soldiers at 142 Russell Street in Melbourne some time in the early 1950s. Spiro Raftopoulos (Levendi), president of the organisation, is seated on the left at the head of the table; his son Stathi Raftopoulos is seated on the right, sixth down. The solicitor, Mr. Zilores, is sitting next to Spiros.
