Historical information

In 1935 the Catholic Deaf met as Australian Deaf and Dumb Association Victorian Branch. Bro P J O’Farrell was the president; The John Pierce Centre (Prahran) opened unofficially in March 1980 and in August 1980 it was officially opened and blessed.

Significance

Significant as a newsletter for the Deaf Community.
