Historical information

Clyde Cameron was Minister for Labour in the Whitlam government and sacked in 1975. He was in parliament from 1949 until his resignation in 1980. Cameron also has a history with the AWU, both as an elected official and as an organiser and industrial advocate. He was at one time Leader of the Labor Party in South Australia.
