A Freudian/psychoanalytical biography of Bob Hawke. Bob Hawke was President of the ACTU and was successfully elected to federal parliament in 1980. He became Australian Prime Minister in 1983, defeating Malcolm Fraser. He relinquished the Prime Ministership in 1991 following a successful leadership challenge by Paul Keating.
