Graeme Shearer is a former Secretary of Ballarat Trades Hall. He retired after 25 years of service in 2009.

Bernie Constable is General Secretary of the Shearers and Rural Workers' Union and is currently a delegate on the Ballarat Regional Trades and Labour Council Inc. In the picture, Bernie and Graeme are holding the Southern Cross flag.
