A black and white photograph of the wrestler, Speros Defteros who represented Greece in the 1948 London and 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Although he had migrated to Melbourne in 1938 he was eligible to represent Greece as he was not naturalised.
The IPS raised funds through an appeal to send Speros Defteros to the Olympic Games in London.
