From the album of WWI soldier William West (1268) of the 29 Infantry Battalion, 5th Pioneers Battalion. This collection of postcards, photographs and clippings were sent between William and his family and loved ones during the years he was on active service. See also 207 and 220.

Physical description

Postcard with a colour illustration of a crowd of soldiers and a lone man with sleeves rolled, apparently bracing himself for a fight. Handwritten message on back.
