From the album of WWI soldier William West (1268) of the 29 Infantry Battalion, 5th Pioneers Battalion. This collection of postcards, photographs and clippings were sent between William and his family and loved ones during the years he was on active service. See also 207 and 220.

Physical description

Postcard with a black and white photograph of a soldier in uniform. His right arm is resting on a wooden stand and he stands in front of a brick ivy covered wall. Handwritten message on the back.

Inscriptions & markings

There is a small sign at the base of the stand that says "3251"
