Large group photo, mounted on card, of 1st Kew Scouts in uniform. The group of thirty-seven Scouts and two leaders (probably R.J. Poewrie SM and R. Wall ASM) are posed with a shield, likely to be the ‘Cohen Shield’, awarded at a statewide Scoutcraft competition for ‘Champion Troop of Victoria’. This was won by 1st Kew in 1922. The building in the photo is not the Disraeli Street Hall, which was a weatherboard construction.
