In 2002, the Master Building Excellence in Construction Award (Excellence in Construction (Existing Building) 85M-110M) was presented to L.U. Simon Builders Pty Ltd for the National Information Centre, Vision Australia Foundation, Kooyong. This award hung in the main corridor of the building, opposite the middle doorway from the drop off area, from 2002 until the building's refurbishment in 2017.
