Pictured are Dimitrios and Kalypso (nee Raftopoulos) Sofianos following their engagement or soon after their wedding in 1937. They were both from the same village of Kioni and became engaged soon after Kalypso's arrival in 1936. Dimitrios was well settled in Melbourne having arrived in 1914.
