Historical information

Legacy Widows leaving St Michael's Uniting Church, Melbourne, after a service. This is an annual event for Legacy widows at the start of Legacy Week, which is usually the first week in September. The day is sometimes referred to as Widows' Sunday or Pilgrimage to the Shrine. It was held on Sunday 26th August 2000.
The photos are from the same film as the wreath laying service at the Shrine with Legacy President David Kelly.
Names unknown. The same ladies are seen at the Widows Luncheon photos in 00528.
