Historical information

A visit by the Governor of Victoria to an formal function in Legacy House. It is an award ceremony. One of the ladies is Dame Beryl Beaurepaire who receives a golden plaque for her services to Legacy. Including a speech being given by the Governor, The Hon. Richard E. McGarvie, AC QC. It is 1995 and was with a bunch of other photos with the label, "Misc guests of the club . . Governor - 95". The President David Millie and Irene Noll, the President of the Widows Club are also seated at the table and in the photos.

Significance

A record of an award function for a Legacy widow or Legatee. The Governor of Victoria is a patron of Legacy and this visit shows the closeness of the relationship.

Inscriptions & markings

Printing on the back " 584" which is the negative frame number and film number, so they from the same film. (frame numbers 1, 2, 5, 9A, 10A). Yellow Post-it note says:
