The label Jantzen was established in the United States in 1916. Aspartame's of international expansion, Jantzen Australia was formed in 1928.

Physical description

The Jantzen brand was one of the best-known in the world, originating in Portland, U.S.A. in 1913. It probably became popular in Australia and New Zealand in the 1940s. The diving girl logo (which is faintly visible on this costume) first appeared in advertisements in 1920, and on swimsuits in 1923.
