Historical information
Melbourne Legacy has relied for funding on grants as well as donations, and continues to do so in the absence of any government funding. The 1988 grant by the William Buckland Foundation was substantial enough to warrant a commemorative plaque.

Physical description
Plaque, brown rectangular shape, raised symbol of Legacy top centre, raised printing and edges. Mounted on rectangular timber, 2 holes drilled centre top and bottom of mounting.
