Historical information
At the front of the minutes is an index of names for some of the people referred to in the minutes of the Finance/Executive Commitees, with relevant page numbers. Held at the office of the Association for the Advancement of the Blind, these minutes contain information on bank balances, corerspondence received and replied to, receipts expenditure, accounts and other business discussed. This included concerts, applications for pensions, the proposed financial amalgamation with RVIB (p97) and a general discussion on the advisability of bulding an infirmary at the Brighton Home (p61).
