1161 specimens of wood collected from the late 1800s to the 1920s by HT and his son, HV Wardle, Ballarat sawmillers. Various sizes. HV Wardle originally donated the collection to the City of Ballarat but they were returned to his widow in the 1960s, she then donated them to the VSF.
