Historical information
The group photograph was taken at one of the annual Ithacan picnics in the 1930s and features everyone in attendance on the day. The picnic was held at a large picnic/sports ground, possibly Maddingley Recreation Reserve Bacchus Marsh, where running races were able to be held.
Significance
Social - the annual picnic continues and generations of Ithacans descent gather each year.
