Shield shaped presentation plaque made of varnished timber. in its centre is a large Royal Tasmanian Regiment badge which is silver and gold in colour. Below the badge is a silver banner with " 40 INDEP RIFLE COY RTR". On the rear of the plaque is an enscription made in black sharpie.
