Historical information

cameras were not common during the first world war. as such post cards of portraits and the damage of the battlefield were common.

Physical description

Collection of black and white post cards and photographs. 20 post cards are of the township of Villers Brettoneux after the German shelling. 2 are of Australian Soldiers. One of the photos is written on, otherwise the post cards are unmarked and in good condition.
