Functional object - Object, Braille clock

Historical information

Wooden clock with embossed metal to mark hours as well as tactile hands. A metal plate fixed to the top has Braille as well as print. Door at the rear opens to reveal the clock's inner workings. Four metal balls on the base sit on two runners. Believed to have been created by St Dunstans.
