Historical information
A satirical amateur programme "issued to take the place of serviettes at the Annual General Meeting of the Melbourne Legacy Club" and dated 28 June 1930. Includes some freehand illustrations and is visually well designed; unfortunately the so-called humour falls flat these days, but it is clear that the early Legatees made the most of opportunities to have fun with each other.
Significance
Illustrative of acceptable social interaction in the 1930s.
