Belt for dress women’s indoor uniform, 1962

This a belt which fastens to a Women’s nurses dress of the Royal Australian Army Nursing Corp.

Significance

The garment was a sealed sample 26 feb 1962. It is unknown when the dress was replaced. It is a representative example of this type of uniform in the period.The dress is in excellent condition.

Physical description

Light green cotton belt with 3 sewn holes ( for fastener) 30mm apart,a gap of 50mm with 3 more holes at one end of belt.At other end a sewn opening of 30mm with another similar opening 70mm from first.
