Historical information

Kew Railway Station was the second railway station on the Kew 'Spur' Line in Melbourne. The key unlocked signals equipment at the Station. The key was donated by Harry Jackson in 2019 during an exhibition at the Kew Court House on railway history in Kew.

Significance

This piece of railway equipment is a rare oiece of railway memorabilia.
