Historical information

This is an example of Melbourne Legacy promotional material that was issued to inform the public on the work of Legacy. It was a snapshot of statistics to help inform people about Legacy.
Comparing two cards, the number of widows doubled between 1966 and 1982, but the number of children in 1982 was less than a third of the number in 1966. It shows that Legacy had an influx of ageing widows to take care of.
Years 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1973, 1982.
The cards were part of a scrapbook of Legacy material, mostly promotional material, from the 1960s to 1990s.
