Historical information

Legacy raised funds from the sale of Christmas cards for many years. In 1962 the cards were:
The arrival of the First Gold Escort, 1852
The candle
The Shepherd Boy
The Christmas Tree
Captain Sturt's voyage down the Murray, 1829, by William Rowell
The return from Egypt
Happy Landing
Christmas Bells
The subject of some of the cards might seem dated, especially those featuring the colonisation of Australia by the British.
The order form and cards were part of a scrapbook of Legacy material, mostly promotional material, from the 1960s to 1990s.
