North Vietnamese NVA Pith Helmet worn by 'the communist Viet Minh and later the People's Army of Vietnam of the North' (sourced from Wikipedia 10.02.2020 ).

Significance

Representative of NVA uniform designated during the Vietnam War.

Physical description

Green pith helmet, fiber mould with cloth adhered to exterior and painted interior. Band and trimming on exterior in same green and button at top. Features NVA insignia at front, and has four ventolation holes on sides. Interior has intact suspension straps in grey blue and chin/helmet strap in brown with silver coloured buckle.
