A special gala performance of My Fair Lady was performed at Her Majesty's Theatre on 25th August 1966. It was attended by the Governor of Victoria, Major General Sir Rohan Delacombe and his wife, Lady Delacombe. Proceeds from the evening were in aid of Melbourne Legacy.

Significance

A record that Legacy used gala performances for fundraising events. It was attended by the Governor who was patron of Legacy.

Printed programme of a gala performance in aid of Legacy. The cream card cover has the Legacy emblem and printing in green, plus a decorative green ribbon in the side. The cover wraps around a printed programme with black and white photos and advertising inside. 32 pages.
