In 1981, Ansett Australia introduced a new look for their uniforms. The designer was Adele Weiss, wife of Peter Weiss.
The journal and the uniforms displayed at the museum, demonstrate the collaboration between Ansett and two Australian fashion designers.

This booklet is a lookbook of male and female flight attendants uniforms designed by David Weiss for the period 1984-1986. It shows the different options and combinations of accessories, tops and bottoms presented on mannequin and also photographed on models. It also explains the presentation standards expected from the in flight staff in regards to grooming, jewellery, make-up, hairdo.
