An example of badges issued by Legacy for fundraising during the Legacy Appeal and Badge Week. It is an older style pin that was released in 2006 as part of the Nostalgia Collection in a presentation case for $10-0 the set of 4.
The badge of Legacy is the Torch and Wreath of Laurel. The Torch signifies the undying flame of service and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for their country. The Wreath of Laurel is the symbol of our remembrance of them. This badge does not have the laurel wreath which makes it unusual.

Physical description

Legacy Appeal pin with the Legacy torch, it is gold with white enamel around a torch, blue enamel around the word Legacy and red enamel in the flame.
