An example of badges issued by Legacy for fundraising during the Legacy Appeal and Badge Week. The donation value was $25. The date is not known. There are two of these in the collection.
The badge of Legacy is the Torch and Wreath of Laurel. The Torch signifies the undying flame of service and sacrifice of those who gave their lives for their country. The Wreath of Laurel is the symbol of our remembrance of them.

Legacy Appeal badge with the Legacy torch, it is gold with orange enamel around a torch with red enamel in the flame.
