On front side, is bust of King George V; on circumference is written "GEORGIVS V BRITT: OMN: REX ET IND: IMP: on the reverse side on circumference is 1914 at 10 o'çlock position and 1918 at the 3 o'clock position; in the centre is horse with mounted horseman ; on the rim is impressed with the recipient's number rank name and regiment
