Lock up originally located at rear of police station in Gellibrand Street Queenscliff

Significance

Frequent occupants of the gaol were fishermen and sailors for being intoxicated

Physical description

Timber lock-up building with tin roof painted white with small well secured door in the middle. A window with bars is high above the door. Door has black hinges, double locks and viewing window.
