The sign says Sacred Heart Mission. On either side of the door is an arched window. On the right of the door is another sign, which says Sacred Heart Mission Op shop. Further to the right, and partially obscured, is another arched doorway and wooden door. Above the main entrance are three round windows. There is a cross on top of the roof. Historical information

The Sacred Heart Catholic church was opened and dedicated on 7/12/1884, and completed in 1922. Sacred Heart Mission is a medium-sized not-for-profit organisation that grew from the Catholic parish of The Sacred Heart in 1982. It became a separate legal entity in 1984. It addresses homelessness, social exclusion and disadvantage. The Op Shop is in the Church Hall at 87a Grey Street. Crisis services are provided next door.
