Lorrie Colclough (1941) B.H.P.S.A. Committee member and member of sub-committee formed by Past Students Association to prepare a history of the school in June 1964 in preparation for the 75th birthday of the school. However, book and then scaled down pamphlet abandoned and onlhy a Special Edition of the College Magazine produced.
Olive Mellor nee Holttum student part-time. Received Certificate of Competency in 1912 then Diploma of Horticulture in 1913. Became a landscape gardener.

Physical description

1. Handwritten letter to Miss Colclough by Olive Mellor dated 13.06.1966 enclosing a memoir she had written.
2. Typed memoir: 'The Early Years of Burnley'. Her recollections of the school particularly with regard to the admittance of female students and attitudes towards them.
