Note by T.H. Kneen 4 December 1991, "Students are working on the Long Border-the path leads on to the the Principal's Residence obscured by the pine tree at the right. The dress worn by women students-shirt, tie, jodhpurs, leggings-was established pre-1926." Also see newspaper cutting B00.1127 where the photograph has the caption,"Students Renovating a Border in the Gardens."
