Note by T.H. Kneen 4 March 1992, "This could be at the time when the Orchard was equipped with a stationary spray plant located in the Spray Shed on the West boundary adjoining the old nursery. The shed was close to the large specimen of Agathis robusta (Queensland Kauri.)"

Inscriptions & markings
Inscribed on photograph, "Spraying trees Burnley Gardens B36-2231." Student spraying a fruit tree. Looks very similar to B91.237 in which case he has been identified as Rod Cantrill (1953).
