Back to Port Melbourne celebrations were an early type of Port Melbourne Festival.
One of two festival badges from 1932 : tin, white, printed in brown: "Back to Port Melbourne - Admit to Gymkhana on Station Pier - Afternoon & Evening - Mayor's Appeal", identical except for date: one April 7th", this one May 7th". The latter was the actual date, so possibly a printing error.
