Historical information

This book was compiled by Kate SHAW of St Kilda, one who had battled against the SCDC 'Bayside' development and the demolition of the Missions to Seamen building, by asking a number of academics and community members to write essays on various aspects of the development. The book was launched at the MIssions to Seamen building in February 1988, as both the Environmental Effects Enquiry and the Victorian Parliament resumed sittings.
